About Harmonie Lodge

Harmonie Lodge was founded by German immigrants in 1869 to promote the esoteric mysteries of ancient Freemasonry. It operates under the authority of a charter granted to it by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York on June 13, 1870. By virtue of this charter Harmonie Lodge confers the essential degrees of Freemasonry (Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason).

 Freemasonry is a transformative system of moral philosophy, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. The mission of Harmonie 699 is to take good men and make them better. Harmonie is dedicated to promoting the three principal tenets of Freemasonry - Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Harmonie Lodge is a modern mystery school focusing on the examination and contemplation of the philosophies, traditions, and practices of speculative Masonry. The officers of Harmonie seek to guide its members through a transformative process of intellectual and spiritual awakening, culminating in the individual’s own enlightenment.
