106th German Table Lodge
Welcoming the Grand Master of the State of New York, Most Worshipful Steven Adam Rubin
Constant effort wears away the stone.
We believe every man can, and should, become his best self and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Founded in 1869 by German immigrants, Harmonie Lodge № 699 has stood for over 150 years as a beacon of Brotherhood, Truth, and self-improvement in Western New York. Named after the Greek goddess Harmonia — and inspired by the rich traditions of our sister Lodges Concordia and Modestia — we have long served as a home for men seeking meaning, discipline, and transformation.
At Harmonie, tradition and progress are not in conflict — they are complementary. We emulate the elegance of 18th-century ritual while integrating 21st-century tools: multimedia degrees, digital archives, and educational programs that support both new Masons and seasoned brethren alike.
In recognition of our efforts, Harmonie Lodge received the Mark Twain Award for Excellence in Masonic Awareness in 2010 — one of only 17 Lodges nationwide honored that year.

This German proverb, inherited from our founding brothers, reflects our belief that personal transformation is slow, deliberate, and sacred. Every degree, every lesson, and every shared moment in Lodge is one drop in the lifelong work of shaping character.
